Job Requirements

The Mechanical Engineer, 

  • Delivers the Technical scope

  • Make robust designs of assemblies and parts (from non-complex to complex designs depending on the seniority & experience)

  • Assist Leads

  • Focus on developing their technical skills

The typical Engineering activities include,

  1. Design & Development of devices, cubicles/cabinets, assemblies, skids etc.  (3D and 2D)
  2. Safety & Compliance Studies
  3. FEA Analysis
  4. Documentation & Compliance 
  5. Pneumatic/Hydraulic schemes
  6. Motion Studies

Details of the Engineering Scope of Work:

  1. Design & Development of devices (3D and 2D)

  • 3D Design for structural frameworks, enclosures, electrical installations updates…

  • 3D Design Turnkey

  • Pre project 3D studies

  • 2D drawings for data received or 3D created

  • Develop internal products/families as Standard devices

  1. Safety & Compliance

  • Perform risk assessments

  • FMEA studies

  1. FEA Analysis

  • Perform stress analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, and material selection.

  1. Documentation & Compliance

  • Develop mechanical documentation, including:

  • User manuals.

  • BOM & drawings packages

  • Technical data

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices.

  1. Pneumatic/Hydraulic

  • Design pneumatic and hydraulic schemes

  1. On-Site Support (through short-term visits)

  • Travel to customer sites for Assembly follow up, debugging and machine qualification.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting as required.

Additionally, the role requires the following experience, 

  • Carry out designs, create exploded drawings and details drawings.
  • Review self-work and peer work
  • Create design documentation, manuals etc.

  • CAD models (3D/2D) source code.
  • Assembly diagrams
  • Structural analysis reports.
  • User manuals and technical documentation.
  • Machines’ simulation videos.
  • Risk Assessments analysis
  • Complete and functional source code of the developed software.

Hardware / Domain Knowledge

Soft Skills / Personality Traits

  1. Extensive knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Edge
  2. Knowledge of EPLAN and ACAD systems
  3. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  4. Finite element method – good to have
  5. Experience in design for manufacturing technologies, tolerancing analysis, FMEA and quality assurance
  6. Mechatronics Skills
  7. Technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.)
  8. Knowledge of project management and engineering techniques, processes and tools, including project planning tools
  9. Knowledge of Machine Directive and other industrial equipment safety rules
  10. Working experience in an international team
  11. Green Belt 6-Sigma Certification / Experience – Good to have
  12. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  13. Flexible to travel
  14. Knowledge of Spanish, Polish, Chinese or German will be positively valued
